Do you remember when Lambert got kicked out of a game and refused to leave and sat in the endzone. I think the cops had to take him away. My old high school football coach worked as a NFL referee and was the ref who kicked Lambert out. His name was Sid Semon. My old friend liked Lambert more than anything and modeled the way he played like Lambert. He was a nut.

One of my heroes as a kid too. I worshiped that beast. I like that he was 6'5" and 215lbs. Tall and skinny. Like I was (still am). They didn't think a bean pole like that could cut it in the pros but he more than made up for it with pure intensity and ferociousness.

Remember when that badazz from the Raiders did some cheap shot on one of his team mates and Lambert ran out, totally fearless, and threw the f-er to the ground? What was that guys name? Was it Upshaw? I just remember the guy was way bigger than Lambert but was intimidated by no one.

Don't know if he's retired now but last I heard JL was a game warden in Allegengy Co (outside of Pittsburg I believe). Can you imagine being out deer hunting or fishing ect ect & have him check your license?
