mags = supplements companies = noobs who give away their money in powders hopin to look like the models on cover = fitness/bbing industry.
The whole thing is useless.

All you need to get results in the short medium or long term range are weights, food and a brain.

I like getting M&F and men's fitness. I buy them subscriptions off ebay and it is like 8 bucks for 3 years so the price is nothing. Men's Fitness has some good articles not on lifting and M&F is good for motivation. I don't follow shit about what they say 99% of the time, but it is something to read in the can and keeps me motivated and going to the gym.

Anyone notice how the BB mags have gotten to be like the women's mags with more ads than content?  The Flex March 2009 mag has a front cover claim, "OUR BIGGEST ISSUE EVERY! 450+ POWER-PACKED PAGES."  Then you look inside and find that that is the total size of the magazine and well over half the pages are advertisements.  The actual editorial content in the issue is probably lucky to reach 150 pages.  Pretty pathetic.

Makes me glad that my subscription to the mag only cost $5.94 for a 3 year term (thanks to a link to an e-bay offer from a helpful Getbigger - see http://www.getbig.com/boards/index.php?topic=206395.0).

All of them seem to be supplement catalogues full of lies, why should I give money to see a 200 page supplement catalogue full of advertisements?
"Take this supplement and you will look like Victor Martinez"
how about something useful? something ground breaking?
it's all the same bullshit recycled, "weight training causes muscle growth" thanks, that is a useful tip ::)
how many of you buy an issue of Flex or MD every month?
Magazines suck now. 10 bucks for all adds and supplement pushes.
