Got a 37 (I believe) inch LG  HD a month ago, the difference is magic, funny thing is, when I had it setup I was sure we made a mistake buying it and it
is to big, but you get kinda used to it

I'm still watching the Samsung LN52A650.   Watched the price drop from 3 grand to 1800 on Amazon over a year.

Might grab it soon.

thats me tv! absolutely awesome! picture quality crystal clear 100hz and i also bought the live blueray player to match.
to be honest the blue ray player is a pile of shit.
It plays bluerays perfectly however the upscaler is faulty and gives you complete letter box upscaling full 4 corner black box with about a 28inch viewing area.  luckily i have the samsung homecinema free standing system which has an upscaling hd player with it.

im not selling samsung i just like it all to match lol

The 850 looks awesome as well.  I've seen CoD4 played on those TVs with an XBox 360.  It's amazing - it's like there's depth.

I just don't see the difference in features between the 850 and the 650 to be worth the price.   It was like when the 750 came out and one of the main differences was WiFi.  Whoopee.

Maybe there isn't a lot of HD programming in Ireland. It makes a huge difference. Also, why are people saying that a TV can be too big? I have a 65 inch and when I see the 73 inch I always kick myself for not getting it. Bigger is better, as long as quality is not sacrificed.

Ok, that's big enough to notice a HUGE difference in regular tv and HD. Do you have an HD provider? HDMI cable? Basically is everything hooked up right? I have never heard anyone say they didn't notice a difference.

Well, do you have an expensive cable(HDMI) going from your cable box to your TV?
