I checked into the mason thing a bit more.  His wife is a member of the Velasco Order of the Eastern Star. His daughters were both Rainbow girls.  His father was a mason and I guess there is a masonic lodge he reguarly attends meetings at.  So with his family all seeming to be associated, there's probably a good chance he's a freemason.
