I'm in agreement, King Alex. I DO NOT CRAVE ABS! I don't mind sporting a good six pack and having low bodyfat on my being. However, you will never find me CRAVING abs...ever.

Hey Alex23,
  I know what you mean. There were times when I did have abs and it meant that I was much lighter than I had hoped. Very few non-pros can maintain abs and any real significant size, never mind trying to keep those abs for any protracted period of time. Craig doesn't have abs until he is dieting for his show and he could care less. When people see him in the off-season, the very last thing they ever care to comment are his "abs."
  Being bigger with muscle means being treated differently in society. Last winter I gained too much weight (all of it fat) and people didn't treat or respond to me as well as when I had signs of muscle. Even when I lose size to fight in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Kickboxing tournaments, the general public could care less. It's size that impresses the public. When I was bigger and rounder with muscles, everyone seemed nicer and more respectful.
  I am not saying that having abs isn't aesthetcially pleasing or desirable, it's just that the kid who weighs 165 pounds can have an 8 pack and still be the first one to get his lunch money taken. Just a matter of prefernce, but personal experience shows me that before a chick ever gets to see your abs, you better have some muscle and some game to get her back to your place to begin with.
