For me... this is kind of weird but there is a Worlds Gym across town from me that i go to occasionally that smells just like Pro Tan. It instantly brings me back to my first competition and being back stage, all 145 of me, getting dominated by everyone and it instantly puts me into a hardcore mood to work out hard. Inside they have a plaque dedicated to Don Youngblood and i think Chad Ray Martin used to train there as well..... It used to be the place to be if you were a bodybuilder in the early 2000's (i wasn't there until 07) but it kind of died after 05-06 like getbig, MD, and almost everything else bodybuilding affiliated.

a mixture of weed and pussy...inside my car..from hotboxing and fucking... about three days after the fact...when its subtle yet present.. and in the morning when the scent is real crisp

Not so much a truck driver as he was the owner of a shipping business that he managed, and part of the duties of which had him drive trucks, Mars. Don was quite well off financially and he only started bodybuilding seriously in his 40s. Dude had a good life going for him, from what I understand. RIP.

Yea... Don played it smart early on in his life and then lifted in his older years. You know, when i first started bodybuilding i didn't have respect for all bodies and i was all about aesthetics but you cannot deny that this is a very respectable build here. Dry, grainy, and vascular as hell. Decently shaped as well. A very good body for as old as he was indeed. He kind of has a Bobby Slyesqueness to him.

Agreed. Don't forget that he beat Vince Taylor and won the Masters Mr Olympia - no small feat by any standard. Did you meet him and got to know him at all?

Nahh... that was way before my time. Youngblood died in what, 2005? I was in highschool then in Louisiana. My friend who used to bodybuild knew his daughters. He was bodybuilding since 14 and then got out of it in 2006. I didn't start bodybuilding really till 06 and was lucky i met him. From my understanding he made it sound like his death was not a huge shock to those who were close to him but my knowledge of the whole thing is indirect so i could be wrong. Just gossip that has been passed from person to person.
