Ok, so some girl i am dating is cooking v-day dinner for me in about 5-6 hours. I have made zero effort to get anything for her. Any ideas on what to get her. I am looking to spend $50-$100. Thanks.

Flowers, a nice card, box of nice chocolates and a DVD of some chick flick, like 'The Notebook' should do the trick - won't cost more than what you're willing to spend and it's classy, without making you look cheap and / or desperate. Have fun, whatever you get her

I though about flowers and a card, plus a little something extra, but it is almost noon here and I don't feel like leaving my house for a few more hours so i wonder if cards and flowers will be all sold out. BUt not a bad idea as i jst have to go to the grocery store accross the street to get them.

Making a little bit of effort to please your girl always pays off, unless she's just a booty call. The point I was trying to make is that you can get 3 or 4 things that don't cost an arm, but will still make for a great gift.

Of course, you could also take the opportunity to show her your sense of humor as well as try your luck by giving her a wrapped gift that when opened, will reveal a pack of a dozen ribbed condoms

An added wrinkle is that I think she might have figured out I was seeing another girl as well as her last night. I haven't talked to her today so i am putting off buying anything and I'd prefer to buy something that can be returned.
