The Dems have reached out and listened to their ideas and have even made concessions.

In return they got not a single vote.

sorry - I wasn't aware that when the Repubs were in control there were plenty of them calling for more oversight on Bush's orgy of borrowing and spending.

It had nothing to do with how they did their job over the past 8 years.

It had nothing to do with marching lock-step with Bush for the last 8 years.

It had nothing to do with the fact that they were in control of the legislation for the past 8 years and they own the results.

It's all just bad luck for them and really had nothing to do with their job performance

matt, that is a very superficial responce....right out of the us vs them playbook of federal politics.  F-ck political games...the people and constitution are being pushed aside by some democrats.  Free your mind and look what some of your democrats really put in this emergency stimulus bill...its pathetic and a lie to the people.  The dems who wrote this bill want gov's hand in everything and they believe they can make better decisions for us than we can.  Blaming Bush and republicans for the faults made in the last 7 yrs does not solve our problems or address the shift of power from the people to the gov that some democrats want.  1/3 of the democratic party believes socialism would be good for this country, unfortunately this is the loudest voice in the dem party right now...very very scary imo.


Pelosi must be removed.  We need more moderate democrats and true economic conservatives who will protect our freedoms and tax dollars.
