found this post pretty funny, this is the new attitutde being learned through these bailouts. I understand how the poster feels but no one forced a student load down your throat or forced you to use credit cards to the hilt. BUT if other people, (banks, government), won't fullfill their obligations and do the right thing why should anyone else?
from another site: I'm getting really f'in pissed at what's going on. I have student loans and credit card debt. WHY THE HELL should I keep making payments when my President is going to give the same banks that I owe money to BILLIONS OF BILLIONS of dollars? I don't think ANY American should pay back their debt at this point after seeing how their government is treating Wall Street and the banks. I mean seriously..............p eople should be protesting in the street saying We won't pay! We Won't Pay!
That stupid c&nt Suzy Orman was on Larry King telling callers how they are responsible for paying off their debt because it was their choice to use the credit at that time. Hahah......so we are supposed to be responsible for our financial decisions but yet the professional banks and corporations get bailed out left and right? FUCK THAT! It's time Americans quit paying off their credit cards, student loans, and car payments! I mean it's these exact banks that are getting our money anyways.
I'm going to start to call my credit card companies and telling them they are going to do two things.............cut my balances in half and lower my interest rate NOW or I'm going to tear up my cards and quit paying. I mean as a consumer why can't I negotiate this instead of some debt consolidation company? Who should I talk to?
