When I trained in VeeArnisJitsu we finished every scenario with a head stomp after our opponent was on the ground. Again that's the difference between martial arts and street self defense. These are kids but as adults that guy could have gotten up and killed you. Hence the head stomp.

We're taught to collapse the trachea after KOing someone or chocking them out for the same reason you mentioned above...

If a mugger ever tried that with me (and he wouldn't because i clearly exercise with weights), after I choked him out i'd definitely take his fucking wallet. Let that bitch see how it is. Then i'd jack his friend and take his wallet too. Then I may or may not piss on them. I guess it would depend on how bad I had to go.
