Rupert is a funny guy. He know fox news is a sham and he gets paid off the shit it stirs up. He gave money to Obama's Campaign..So i know he didnt ok this. But who ever is over the paper should have known better. Unless we all arent getting what the picture really means.

I know he gave money to Hillary but I did not know he gave to Obama.  No way he approves cartoons.  He's above all that stuff, but some editor did. What Rupert does about it will be interesting.  I'm guessing nothing.

The stimulus bill was not drafted by Obama.  I think everybody knows that.  However, the bill was drafted in a way that is so messy you could say it was drafted by a monkey or by a chimp.

There is an old expression "this company is run by monkeys."

In other news, a chimp attacked a woman and a police officer.  So other police officers shot and killed the chimp.

Maybe the cartoon has something to do with this.  Is saying "this government is run by monkeys" in bad taste?

Im a huge first Amendment guy. I dont think Imus should have been fired nor do i think Michael Richards should have had to leave the US for the black statements. But dipicting the black president as a monkey and then shooting it, man thats tough. Not sure what road to take.

big stretch.  yes we all know Obama didn't sit down and write it.  But we also all know very very well it was his initiative to make it happen.  Even before he was president he was saying if Bush doesn't now, I'll make sure of it.  Doesn't matter if there was a monkey shot.  He chose to use the monkey shot with that comment.  The depiction is clear, it's one monkey.  If he meant congress both his style and most cartoonists would be to have written congress across the dead monkey and even if that's the intent, it's still highly unethical in the suggestion.  Either way with the monkey shooting being inspiration, it's not the woman but America being attacked and they had to shoot Obama or Congress?  no no no no....  Intent is at Obama here imo.
