Its not...if u consider marxism and socialism separate but related beliefs....it is however socialism. He said it during the campaign..the centerists, especially in the Republican party thought he'd "rule" from the center. Sorry but Barry is Barry, he's written two books telling everybody how he would fuck up America is his own image and he'd doing it. Imagine that.

"It's not that I want to punish your success. I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success too," Obama responded. "My attitude is that if the economy's good for folks from the bottom up, it's gonna be good for everybody ... I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

C'mon hedge, what the hell does that sound to you.............

Why, you don't think it is?
Definitely not.
Because the statement has nothing to do with Marxism, could've been made by Reagan or a MLM coach.

A Marxist statement would've been if Obama would say that it's a war of the classes going on.
But he's not.

He's instead trying to pull off some argument about stimulus for the economy.

Whereas a Marxist would argue for a class war.

Oh lord are you dumb.

Do you really think he is going to say that?

Of course not, he will say one thing, and do another, like he is doing now.

He is a marxist and his actions say that to be the case.

Ok then.
Give me one example of an action by Obama that could be considered Marxist.

Directly taking money from taxpayers who pay their taxes and mortgages and GIVING it directly to people not paying their mortgage.  Read the plan, this is a direct subsidy.

The only reason you cant follow this, and what everyone here is telling you, is because YOU REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT OBAMA IS THE MARXIST WE SAID HE WAS BEFORE THE ELECTION!

This is nothing new.  What do you think welfare, Section Eight, food stamps, Medicare, Medicaid, and all of that is?  Americans have been doling out billions to subsidize others for years now, whether under a Republican or Democratic administration.

Perhaps these entitlements would go to those who truly need it(the disabled, elderly, handicapped) rather than those who are able of body and mind if our politicians and corporations didn't sell out to the Great God of Globalism.  It'd be nice if someone had the option to work in a steel plant making a living rather than working at mcDonalds racking up tens of thousands in school and credit debt.

I have no problem with you calling Obama out on bullshit reforms.

But when you claim he is a Marxist that just simply isn't true.

There is nothing that you've posted that is even remotedly close to support such a claim.

What you could accuse Obama of, is being a populist, adding some deals to the stimulus that are 'pork'.

If anything, Obama is a Keynesian, following the principles of Keynes.

This I suppose you could be critical of.

But it ain't Marxism. That's all I'm saying.

i know that but come on, in comparrison with most countries its free as can be.

In comparison to what countries???? America is one of the most repressive nations on the planet...what has happened is that you are so used to it you can no longer see it. you are taxed to death, denied proper medical healthcare, denied the option of good education, make going to college nearly impossible, have scams of all types run on the citizens to milk them of their money, homes and wealth, you are guinea pigs when it comes to big pharma and the petrochemical industry performing experiments on the masses at will, you have little to NO SAY in government affairs considering you are supposed to be a democracy. C'mon dude wake the fuck up!!!!!!! What citizen voted to waste Trillions on a fake war in Iraq and Afghanistan?? How about the BAILOUT of the banks responsible for the financial and mortgage disaster you are currently experiencing???

Serious question, what is neccesary to turn the democratic US into a totalitarian dictatorship ruled by one man? could it be possible?

It would take creating a new branch of Govt and enacting some kind of act to encourage patriotism.  :)

wouldn't you say spreading the wealth is about war of the classes.  Look, its not extreme marxism, but that statement does have hints of it, you're being too technical

"extreme Marxism"?

Look.

I think the President should be held responsible and that his actions should be questioned.

But branding him as a Marxist or a Socialist is just name calling.

Instead of trying to focus on the real flaws and discussing them.
