I've deleted racist shit posted by a black member here, now what? ::)

You often let black(and white) posters insult white politicians, even do it yourself. But when a white poster is critical of Islam you delete it. BF has posted a lot of things about Muslims that you nuked, but if MattT calls President Bush names, you are fine with it. You are the least fair mod on here.

Wow, once maybe? You've let so much blatant racism slide because it wasn't directed at blacks or Muslims. Anything that can be construed as racist regarding those two demographics and threads starting getting deleted while ban threats get handed out. You're a liar and a hypocrite.

I don't care if you want to delete the racism or not, but don't play that double standard bullshit and then point fingers when you get called on it.

Hugo's as racist as they come. Yet we're the bad guys.  ::)

Well, if you're part of Hugo's e-clique, then you can post whatever you want. If you're not part of it, expect to get your posts and threads deleted. Simple as that. He's a hypocrite.

It's the "Burden the Majority must Bear"

You can have the NAACP but you can't have the NAAW

It's just the way it is.  It's not fair.  Neither is over time in Football or life in general.

As far as Racism on this board, of course there are underlying racists tones.  How can that not be avoided on a politics forum?

However blatant direct attacks can be, which i try my best to delete.

several times actually.  by the same person.  It was over the line and directed at whites.  Go ahead and call me a liar, I really don't give a rats ass if you believe it or don't.  Actually you're the liar.  The only thing I've ever done with any muslim posts is to move them to religion with the exception of your thread where you posted beheadings.  Same ol game with you. just make shit up trolling for a meltdown.  get a new trick, this is getting old.

No, not really. You've deleted more than your fair share of my posts and threads. If anything can so much as be construed as racist regarding blacks and Muslims, it goes. Christians, Jews, Whites, Asian, etc are all fair game. You can rant about them all day and as long as no one complains, nothing will happen.

You're a hypocrite and a LIAR.

::)  lies... go get Ron to look into if you're so sure of yourself.  I am sure what I said is the truth, you have the ball, go ask Ron to look into it...  You won't tho, because you know which one of us is lying.

No need to. Most posters here know how you moderate. That's why you were voted off when you put that thread up. Remember the one where you were so sure that everyone would kiss your ass and vote to keep you? The one you got wrecked in?

Everyone knows you're a biased, racist hypocrite.  :D

Look, that cartoon of SAMSON that ran in the post was offensive to everyone. Lets just treat everyone the way they want to be treated ( except the blacks and muslims) and everyone will be happy and hold hands in unity. ;D

It's very true. You can bash good honest white politicians as much as you want here, but point out anything negative about Muslims and it gets deleted. You may not realize your double standard, but it's there.

There is a big difference between criticizing a politician based on his myopic, ill-conceived and failed policies, and criticizing some because of their race. Most people here know how to separate individuals from their race, ...but for you, it appears race is the most important factor.

If Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton made a stupid decision, or said or championed a ridiculous cause,
...in your eyes, it would not be because they had false information, or because they weren't thinking straight,
...or had a self-serving agenda, ...you would sum it all up with "It's because they are Black".

As long as you continue to argue and rationalize that way, ...you can expect to see your posts deleted.
The fact that you appear unable to understand this, or even realize how perverse a thinking process that is,
IMO speaks volumes about your mindset.  I'm embarassed for you.  :-[

Of course race is important, no doubt. why shouldnt be? Lets get honest for once, you know where most problems come from, you know which are the usual races at jails, etc

Damn right.  Do you ever hear me refer to ZERO's race?

No.  I oppose 10000% his myopic, ill-conceived and failed policies that have never worked, either in CUBA or the USSR.

I think the problem is that many of these people's abohrent personality characteristics are directly connected to the stereotypes ( or in the case of muslims) or realities of their race/ religion. Everyone should be judged as an individual, but lets be honest here-- Does Sarah Palin get made fun of because shes a red neck who hunts bear's and makes comments consistent with your typical goober? Uh, yes-- Is that a stereotype for a certain cross-section of people who live in the U.S. who happen to be white? Yes, again. So if she falls into a stereotype consistent with her background are we supposed to ignore it because we dont want to offend white people? Hell no.

By that same token, who here doesnt think GWB looks like a chimp? I doubt anyone would disagree that he does. Now if he had signed the bill and the post had run a cartoon about him, would morons be protesting? I think not.

The overly sensitive nature of the "historically disadvantaged" need to take a back seat to freedom of speech, especially on this board.

You cant have it both ways. Either everything is up for grabs, or nothing is up for grabs. You cant pick and choose.

That's rich coming from you. Why don't you regale us with another comment about blacks or "bars of soap," you apologist Muslim?

Hugo, it's pretty simple really. I'm not the only one that thinks you're a biased dipshit. Remember, you got destroyed in that vote. The one you thought everyone would vote for you in. How embarrassing!

Racism is absolutely stupid.

When I look at another guy, black, hispanic, chinese, whatever, and we all see the same hot chick walking down the street, WE ARE ALL THINKING THE SAME THING.

When I look at another guy, black, hispanic, chinese, whatever, and we all see the same big cold beer on the bar, WE ARE ALL THINKING THE SAME THING.

When I look at another guy, black, hispanic, chinese, whatever, and we all see the movie, Gladiator, Braveheart, Predator, etc,  WE ARE ALL PROBABLY THINKING THE SAME THING.

Most people have the same dreams, motivations, desires, etc., regardless of race.

That's an excellent point you bring up; one that I think underscores some of the very racism we've seen.
Can you honestly say Obama falls into a stereotype consistent with his background?

So where do we get depictions like this?

or this

complete with the caption "Mack Daddy Obama will arrive looking like the pimp player that he is"

Is this a reflection of Obama, or the mindset of the individuals who automatically see him this way?

OK- You just proved my point

I mentioned characteristics demonstrated by Sarah Palin that put her in a stereo type of certain white people. You showed some morphed pictures of Obama wearing bling. I fail to see the connection.

Now Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Cynthia McKinney and others can easily been stereotyped based on their own actions/ behavior and as such can be made fun of even if it has to do with race. -- This is also true of GWB, Sarah Palin and others who by their actions and characteristics demonstrate stereotypes of white red necks.

Understand what Im saying?

As far as those Obama pictures go, I find them hysterical, especially the first one. If you know your rap- Dont Believe the Hype was a song by Public enemy and Flava Flav was the group member who wore the big ass clock. Obama has been characterized by many as being more style than substance- someone who was proped up by hype perpatrated by the media.

As far as the other one goes, I dont understand what your problem is. If Obamas face had been put on a monkey I could understand you being offended. But if im not mistaken, that is an actual black person is it not? If someone put my face on Tony Soprano's body or Michael Moore's body or some other white persons body that potrayed me in a stereotypical or unflattering manner, I wouldnt like it, but I definetly wouldnt cry racism or make a federal case out of it.

You have no vested interest in our political system, you are Canadian and should keep your trap shut. Same with MattT. You guys cheer for Obama because of the color of his skin. Seriously though, I don't want to go back and forth about this again. He is my president now and unlike most people on here I think that deserves respect.

You just love revealing your ignorance don't you?
Yes, I am Canadian, ...and as a citizen of the USA's largest trading partner, I do have a vested interest.
Fortunately for both of us, our two heads of state (below) knew this when they met up in Ottawa on Thursday.

US President Barack Obama shares a joke with Canada's Governor General Michaelle Jean

The two of them hit it off so incredibly well, Obama invited her to visit him in Washington.
And yes, ...the rumour mills are already buzzing with all sorts of rumours already flying.  :P

Quote
You guys cheer for Obama because of the color of his skin.

There you go again, ...bringing everything down to the colour of someone's skin. You're hopeless.  ::)

How do you then explain my lack of support for Keyes or Sharpton? Do they not share the same skin color?

I don't think he deserves respect because he's President, ...he deserves respect because he is who he is.
"The President" is what he is, not who he is. Who he is, is what allows him to be what he is so skillfully.

Perhaps I used bad examples. I'm really not refering to the superimposition of Obama's face on photos,
I'm referring to those who in their mind, actually see him in that light simply because of his skin colour.

stay within the rules posted and it shouldn't be deleted.  If you're just being a racist pos, you're on the wrong board.  go launch your hate campaign somewhere else.  If you don't like my judgement call when something racial gets deleted, go post it on the complaints board.  nothing new going on here.
