Its clear to me why RP gets some good responce with certain liberal leaning shows.  He is a real economic conservative but a libertarian when it comes to personal freedoms and social issues (thats the traditional republican historically).  The republican party changed in the past couple decades under the influence of the religious right.
Some liberals find some common ground with Ron Paul.
Ron Paul's ideas are very traditional republican, not what we've seen under Bush.

Maher was very fair to RP.  I liked the back and forth.  Thats one thing I hate about O'Reily...he cuts his guests off too quickly during interviews.  Same with most shows.  Let the person speak!

I do not care. Ron Paul had nothing to do with the bailout and he still gives it to him like a madman.

Actually, I dont even watch tv much anymore unless its YES, History, or Spike for UFC.  I also watch discovery channel.

Fox News is unwatchable.  Truly its news for children.  MSNBC and CNN are hardly much better.
