I want to know who his diet adviser is. He claims he "got help" this time around.

Earlier in this thread I predicted he wouldn't dip below 15% and looks like I was right.

ROFL, "need help"? Who the hell = so dumb that they can't estimate how many pounds to lose to get in shape and the time it will take to get there after being in this industry for years? ;D

Dear Vince: Why pay when you could have done the following stuff?:

You are 200 pounds at 20% BF. This turns out to be: 160 pounds of lean bodymass and 40 pounds of flab.

In a perfect world where no muscle is lost, you need to get down to 172 pounds in order to reach about 7% BF (12 pounds of fat, 160 pounds of LBM for a total of 172 pounds of Bodyweight). Total weightloss = 28 pounds.

Since you will lose some muscle++, you would need lose more than that due to some muscle loss ect, but let's keep it simple just for you.

A good rate of weightloss for you would be about 1 pound per week, 1.2 if pushing it, but nothing more.

This would mean about 23 - 28 weeks of dieting, losing 1 - 1.2 pounds per week.

Do you really need to "get help" to understand this? The help you got could not understand much if they had you at 16% BF this close before the contest. You will never make it.

Edit: Gross math error in this post. Edited for accuracy.

LOL. Well, good criticism, D,  but Vince is one of a few people on this board who is so dumb he believes he's smart, so you're just wasting your time.  ;)

In reality the dieting thing is so simple, it's boring as hell.
Once you get rid of the delusions that is.

Although patience always refers to the expectation of a certain outcome at a certain time.
The better approach is to just do the work and enjoy it without expecting anything.
Zero patience is required for that.

Debussey disagrees.

The quality of your practice/work in most areas = influenced by your emotional state, which in turn = influenced by your expectations. If you utilize things like creative visualization techniques to program your mind into expecting the outcome you desire, your emotional state will most likely lead to more focus and better practice in general.

Of course, different folks, different strokes, but still. Useful obsession = most often easier when fueled by the expectation of an outcome.

And the dieting process itself does not need much thinking. You just eat the foods planned out and nothing more. But in other areas where the quality of practice really matters, look above.

Have a look at the Vince G transformation. Reminds me of what happened to Arvilla and True Adonis. To get in shape for contests most blokes end up looking rather small. That is the price Goodrum has to pay to salvage some respect from the flotsam on Getbig.

Look at how long Goodrum's biceps are. Those long biceps must be difficult to make grow.

Maybe someone living near Goodrum can send him a laundry basket for his room. Is that a toilet roll in the photo?

Why would I want respect from Getbig trolls for????  Most of the time I don't even listen to them as they act like immature children which they problably are.   You on the other hand go the other way as seeing a senile old man who tries to fit in with the immature children and end up getting ridiculed yourself.

That = a problem for you. If you had listened to some people like Wavelength (who knows more about dieting than you), you could actually have gotten yourself into decent shape.

And a sign of immaturity is to make the same mistake over and over again and believing you'll get a different result. A great man once called that insanity as well :D (so you calling people immature = quite an interesting thing!)

Keep bodybuilding from a calculator.  If you ever work up the guts to ever show your picture or even compete which I'd doubt, I'll be interested to see how well you do...... ::)
