Thanks I agree. My friend to told me not to do this is I'm just looking for a job. They'll weed those people out and give 'em the boot. This is why I'm on the fence about this.

There's alot of BS that goes with the job as there is with many others.

Wiggs, you represent yourself as an educated man so why the fuck are you seeking approval from anonymous people on the internet. Anyway, before you consider being a cop you might want to consider being a firefighter if your going the civil service route.

I took the NYC police exam and was assigned a detective to start the hiring process but the pay was so low that I decided to just stay in school. I also took into a consideration that chasing black and hispanics around for 8 hours a day wouldn't be something I'd enjoy very much.

I swear half the cops I've known are fucking alcoholics and almost all are miserable. Maybe it's the city cops. Nassau and Suffolk counties in Long Island pay cops pretty well, but they seldom hire and when they do it's once every 3-4 years.

Because sometimes it helps to get outside opinions. I like that I can get so many different opinions and reasons why people feel that way. Obviously, I make the final decision but I like to get different answers and reasons to questions even if I have an answer sometimes.

I have no interest in becoming a firefighter.

but, black on black cop crime, a friend of mine just became a state trooper (what's a large farva?), and he says whenever he works with a black cop (which apparently isn't that often, state trooper usually go solo), they always do that shit.
