I knew plenty of guys in college who wanted to be cops and always told me "I'm doing to be a detective" or "I'm going to be on SWAT".  I would always ask them who was going to work patrol for them those 3-10 years before they got into those positions and they looked baffled.  KH, don't you wish you could have been a Sgt. as a boot?  

I wish Wiggs well.  LV is fast paced compared to other areas, the pay is good, cheap housing market (I think he said he lives there) and you can't beat police pensions.  Wiggs, look at how much Vegas contributes to the pension, what percentage of your pay you can retire at, etc.  There is a lot more than pay to look forward to.

Kh told me (I think) roughly 270 with DC style training.  I doubt too many guys tussled with him.
