Why do we so often see Biden and Obama together?
« on: February 28, 2009, 01:51:03 PM »
Seems like in the past they keep the P and VP more separated in case of something terrible happening.

usually Dubya was in TX ignoring crucial security memos while Cheney was in the Oval Office with oil execs "orchestrating" events.

They intentionally kept Cheney and Bush apart right from the start to avoid that appearance Cheney was behind him running the show.

With Biden and Obama together, they're probably safer.  Nobody wants to see Nancy Pelosi as president.

It's so Obama can babysit Joe and make sure he doesn't say or do anything too stupid.

I couldn't imagine Pelosi or Biden as president.  In fact, Democrats didn't want Biden as president and said so multiple times during the primaries.

Regarding seeing them together, I do think that is a mistake if they're out in public, particularly with how much Obama has been traveling.  Must be a security nightmare for the Secret Service.

Obama may be one of the best managed public personas ever. So much of the image is carefully orchestrated from who is in the crowd to not wearing a blue hat to remind people of the Blue turban mentioned by Nostradamus, LOL!

No telling if he's really that phony but we'll probably never know. There never seems to be an instant where he's not thinking ahead or hasn't prepared a 'sincere' sounding response ahead of time.

I agree.  He is a master at public relations.  Ran a brilliant campaign.

His people even had discussions with Sharpton and Jackson, LOL! Politely explained it would be a great time for them to STFU. :)

Charles Wrangle was pretty quiet too!

I can't believe the Democrat party legitimized that pimp (Sharpton).  He does need to shut up.  Same with Jackson.  He should go raise his is illegitimate kid.

I like Wrangle.  One of my favorite liberals.  Troubled by his ethics problems though.

I'm not religious but will argue that God has seen fit to never create a perfect person.

This guy seems to have never made a mistake ever!! I was glad he started smoking again just to rest assured  the guy isn't perfect. Thing is... he's so carefully managed/scripted even that was probably a lie so people like me would think he was a robot.

Double Bee,

None of them have any ethics. :)

Of course he's perfect.  Have you ever heard him admit making a mistake as a politician?

God has never made any perfect people, Double Bee. :)

I just wonder if he's any closer/further to the public image than any other politician compared to what people think they voted for.

He is a garden variety liberal politician.  He's able to repackage the same old crap to make it sound better, but it's still the same old crap.  People who have deified the man are in for a rude awakening.
