Can't believe there's so much hating in here.
In this particular "Treadmill confessions"-interview Kai Greene isn't putting "ordinary working people" down, like some of you have misunderstood.
He is talking in a philosophical sense, referring to the idea of one actually living and in a way controlling his life - not living life in way the society expects people to live it.
He isn't making his own life a norm. He is just saying that at the moment he is doing what he really wants to do. And by the way I believe he means the CURRENT SITUATION, not the time when he was filming these grapefruit things etc. I do not think that he has any problem with people who have an ordinary job and enjoy doing it. What he is actually saying is that people who have ordinary jobs and DON'T enjoy them, have a problem.
Simply put: the way I understand his opinion is that people who are dissatisfied with their lives should do something about it and not continue the same way because NOBODY ELSE IS GOING TO LIVE YOUR LIFE FOR YOU.
I don't know anything about Kai Greene's education or things like that but he seems to be a smart and thinking person. However I do know something about his past but I don't think that I have or anybody else have the right to judge him (as long as he hasn't hurt anyone). Sometimes we need to do questionable things to support ourselves. But remember, these things are often questionable related to the public opinion. And as bodybuilders, wannabe-bodybuilders or whatever, you should really know that the public opinion isn't something divine. Just a norm constructed by people, who can be very wrong as history shows us.
Hi Kai, great first post. Welcome to getbig.
Have a grapefruit and sit back!
You're a funny guy Sully, I like you...
Well thank you for welcoming me, but I haven't actually ever been to US.
