I don't lift scared. I'm not on roids so i doubt I ever get too strong that my body can't handle it.

People tear their pecs on warm up sets also, :)

I think my secret to my success was putting on 20 pounds since the summer :P I just felt so much stronger when i wasn't restricting calories.
Yip yip, i been dieting for spring break. At least i am not going backwards ;D

How do you get to 289?  Does your gym offer 1 or 2 pound plates?

I did that too today before I benched 455 for 8, 550 for 5 and 620 for 3, because I didn't want to go too heavy today.

These wouldn't happen to coincide with 585lb 1/4 rep squats in a smith machine would they?

I've seen a guy tear his pec while doing broom twists to warm up. He was just that big and tight, that he moved the wrong way and "Pop." :o
