hardball cited it - wash post i think, but not sure.

surely you can't doubt it... most repubs aren't going to say this mess started solely with obama.

If Obama really wanted to go down in History in a positive way, he should have let McCain win so everyone would say "damn, we should have voted for Obama" look at the mess McCain has caused.

who has blamed obama for the situation we are in? he's actions thus far could be argued to have made it worse but who is argueing that obama created this?

first, wager me $1 that it's false.  This way, it's worth my time to google hardball's replay from tonight, find the exact time, etc.

or, it'll be on in 27 minutes, if anyone here is watching.  At 7:05 PM EST, and again at 12:05 AM EST, you can view it again :) :) :)

Thats a question for idiots, way too simplistic.  A president does not completely cause a recession.  This recession is because of the collapse of the financial markets and the banks.  Fault the democrats for ignoring warnings by congress and because of the program that forced lenders to loan to people that weren't qualified, fault the republicans and Bush for not enough oversight of the banking system (along with Barney Frank), fault Americans whose culture has changed for the worse, fault Bush more for wasting our $ in Iraq and fault Obama partly for the recent drops because he is pushing a socialist system that wall street doesn't like and is promoting the largest deficit spending we have ever seen.

Thanks Chemist.  Thats why I hate these f'n polls.  Only idiots can answer that kind of simplistic question.  Its way more complicated but the average American attention span won't allow most people to look a little deeper.  Its still cool to blame Bush for everything....but in 4-6 months when the economy is still rough, Obama must receive part of the blame for not doing the right things to help us out.

Agreed. There's plenty of blame to go around. You can't really pin it all on one action or one person. Regardless of what we may believe, the question now is....can it be fixed? If so, how?

Well Jim Cramer nailed it.

Obama is causing this mess to become a catastrophe.

Card check is next week or two and even George McGiovern said it is a disaster for business.
