All Jokes aside- Rush is a fat, annoying agitator but he is brilliant at what he does and this latest stunt is a win-win situation for him. Nobody from the Obama administration wants to engage him on the issues. I can honestly say I have never listened to Rush before, but reading that transcript it became aparently obvious to me that nothing he said in terms of substance was wrong or untruthful. The White House hates him because hes the one voice they can't silence or manipulate in the media.

The dems are demonizing the entire repub party by labeling him the leader of it.
They would be foolish to debate him. All they have to do is issue verbal barbs, furthering tying him to the party. I mean, suddenly Mitt, Palin, Rudy, and Jindal all look like the lackeys of "a fat, annoying agitator".
Lib media pulled this one off, and white house helped. They succeeded in making the party "Rush's party" and making it so that ppl would have to support this stim bill, or be on Rush's side.
The worst thing the dems could face right now would be the emergence of a graceful, articulate, polite, calm leader of the Repub party. instead, they have a fat drug addict who smuggles viagra and imtates people with parkinson's.
Rush = face of repub party = white house's wet dream.
