Oh, things were going down, but if you look at the chart since Obama clinched the nomination from Hillary and it became evident he was going to win, and then he backed the Bush TARP 1, it went deep south from there.

Look, he inheriheted a huge mess, but he is by almost all measures making a bad situation even worse.

Bush's entrance saw a recession as the dot-coms all cashed out and left stockholders broke.

Obama's entrance saw a recession as all the smart guys (like neurotoxin!) cashed out at 13,000 DOW... everyone else rode it down to 6000 or worse.

Look at history, 333386.  people dump their stocks and move jobs away when the president that hooked them up leaves office, or when they know its coming.

Maybe by dumb luck this disaster of plan will be successful, but like I've said; Its like closing your eyes, keeping your fingers crossed and jumping off a ledge. You liberals hate religion, yet you want everyone to have supernatural faith in a plan that is antithetical to logic.

Bottom line is, ...the eagle has been tossed out of the nest. It can rant, rave, scream, cry, (...and buy ammo), 
...or he can learn to fly on the way down. I'd opt for the latter. What about you?
