I can't imagine it translating well. The whole idea of the comic seemed to be little clever things all around and symbolism. More about telling the story than the actual story. Who even remembers the story? I only remember Rorschach's parts.

well, i hear you there. since it came out, the comic book was considered "unfilmable". Terry Gilliam tried, but he asked for some rediculous amount of money in the 90's to shoot it so it got scrapped.

I hope they stick to the theme of the comic, and not just turn it into a superhero movie, because that would kind of defeat one of the points of the book.

I'll be checking it out with my lady next weekend on the IMAX ... I've read the graphic novel as well as various reviews online about the movie. Personally, I can't wait to see it ! Visually, it looks as if it falls into the same line as, " Sin City ", " 300 ", and " The Spirit " ... 3 of my favorite movies of all-time. Cheers !

I just watched it earlier today. 3 hour movie. Complex and sort of jumbled. Was meant to be much longer than 3 hours but a lot of scenes were cut which will be added to the DVD versions.

Good fight scenes.

Saw it today, it was pretty good and I enjoyed it. It was a lot different than I was expecting, which is a good thing. Definitely worth checking out.

It was very slow and very long.
They spent a lot of time trying to set the back story, but it was very jumbled.
This was just one of those books that wasnt going to translate well, and it didnt.
