That was an eye opener.  This would encourage illegals to become legal  pretty quick...

WOW!!!!

However I am not surprised. america allows these people into the country for the sake of cheap labor (same was done with the Chinese, Japanese, Italians, etc etc)...it is a WIN -WIN situation. America allows them in and in return america is allowed into Mexico (and other nations) to exploit its people in GM factories, clothing and textile factories, cheap made goods etc. So yeah if I look at it from the point of just seeing the restriction on the "OUTSIDER" going to Mexico I can see the irony, but if I take in the whole picture...in all honesty america is stil coming out ahead even if it provides these people with education, welfare etc etc

Maybe some more public assistance and understanding will make it all better.

They can only bring the drug war over the border of there is a DEMAND for drugs...Maybe if americans just stop abusing drugs there will be no need for them and like anythings no longer needed it goes away.

Maybe america should just legalize drugs...PROBLEM SOLVED

I have never used drugs in my life but think the drug war is insane and too costly.

BTW - I believe more and more that every american who wants to be should be armed for what is coming.

This administration and congress removed the E-verify regulation as well so illegals can obtain the stimulus trade/construction jobs much easier.  What a poor decision.

The illegals benefit some businesses but taxpayors take a hit because illegals don't pay income tax and their employers don't pay the employment taxes.

Samson, your right about needing demand in order to have drug trade.  I would legalize marijuana and keep all other drugs illegal.

If you think about it:

Prison Guard Union
Police officers
DA's
Judges
Parol Officers
Probation Officers
Drug counselors
DEA

Think of the money involved in keeping this drug war going!

All drugs would have to be legalized...WHY?...because once all drugs are legal the ENTIRE DRUG TRAFICKING INDUSTRY WILL DIE. The stipulation would be that drug 'cafes' would be set up where people can go to purchase their drug(s) of choice, while there their photographs will be taken and a record of their drug habits and likes will be able to be monitored. Of course anti-drug and substance abuse paraphernalia will be in all 'cafes' as well as counselors to help those who may want to get off drugs. But as a whole legalizing all of the drugs is the only way to bring the violence, addiction, trafficking etc to an end once and for all.
