rampage just needs to peak right and he will be fine in his quest of getting his belt back, overtraining in any sport will hurt you.lets not forget page is fairly new to wolfslair and its coaching staff and his sparring partners,it takes time to get to know a fighters recup abilities and how often and hard should that fighter should workout.we all know that a 20 year old fighter will recup alot faster then a 30 year old fighter,im not saying the 20yr old will be a better fighter or anything but speaking from my experiances in doing grappling and judo tournaments,i would never be able to train the way i did 10 years ago,i would never recover and be hurting all the time.i used to train 5 days a week for 5 weeks leading up to a tournament at on point, now id be lucky to train 2 hard days and 1 light day without burning out in 2 months, its just the way it is.unless i went back to doing some deca and winny ;)to be honest,i havent really trained in months now,bjj and judo training that is and im hurting, lol.i was doing some light rolling the other day with a gym member who wants to learn a few basic bjj moves and the next day i was in pain, ill be 44 this month and all i can say is to you young bucks is enjoy your youth cause once you hit your 40dees your joints and ligaments will haunt you, maybe youll be one of the lucky few who can go alittle longer without the aches but dont count it.i lift alittle weights since i work in a gym 8 hours a day but thats it,we can always look at randy and debunk my theory, but how many guys are like randy and can still fight at that level at that age?exactly
