I dont mean popular bb(Palumbo,Kovak,Chickerillo,Kamali,etc)

to make this thread a bit different...bodybuilders who actually won an important tittle, yet you dont see how.

My first choice is Frank Zane 3x Mr.O!!! and i dont see where in his body he's worth that tittle.

he did have a good upper chest, i give him that. But 18 inch arms and no good quads, and this was a mr olympia.

i agree, i bet in most of todays gym he wouldnt even be close to the biggest dude there :-\

Dorian Yates. The only place I ever see him worshiped is on the forums. No one I've met in real life thinks he should have won so many Mr. O's, especially with a burnt out body that was falling apart all over the place.

I think it has to be Dorian, since Zane was competing in a time were the top 6 contenders were out of the show...
Yates had an mazing back and lower body but they were so many greats guys around that time..............

Zane is really overated,  after 30 years i still see people that think he's one of the greatest....

Que ND to chime in and say no one here knows how bb shows are to be judged, judging criteria, shape and proportion and graininess which are only seen live not in pictures, etc etc. ;)

I actually like Dorian and think he deserved the first three Olympias, so I'm not hating...but I would agree in 96 and especially 97 he was the most overrated bodybuilder.

i would add that in 94, yates was off also and Ray was the true winner in 94.

Arnold-  I never did understand all the "hype"...just because he was one of the (mainstream) "firsts" doesn't make him a BB "God" like most make him out to be... ::)
