Wuthering Heights was better, but this movie and the books was a great attempt at getting youth to read
Kinda like how Dragonball Z is a based on the Chinese story, "Journey to The West"
exactly i agree...a lot of young people are gonna attempt to read wuthering heights after reading this...although since i'm not done iwith the last book yet i do hope bella and jacob dont meet cathys and heathcliffs end...
sadly gone are the days when people under the age of 16 would attempt classics like wuthering heights, david copperfield, the good earth, mayor of castabridge etc etc
one a side note..recently i went and bought mobydick at the mall and walking back to my car i noticed the very old version of "street fighter" sitting in one corner of the mall...out of nostalgia i decided to play a game or 2 and i laid my new book behind me on a bench..
done with the game when i turned around to retrieve said book, it ws gone...someone actually stole "moby dick" ...it ws a paperback and only cost like maybe 10 bucks at most...fuckers
