he's always squated that way, the whole "slow negative" nonsense is bullshit, none of the pros train strictly. ::)

That was also at the end of his sets. I've got the whole session on tape, Tom and Leo are doing 15-20+ reps per set. This is also after doing workout every two hours to tape the entire body workouts they were performing.

His set is a little ballistic, but you can't argue with the results!

no its not, its a known fact, they are on boatloads of drugs, they can not train and put on muscle do to the excessive amounts of hormones. Naturals etc should take advantage of better training techniques like slow controlled negatives and explosive negatives which would result in the most recruitment of muscle

hahah im high on drugs tonight, sorry.

but i will say that in general my grammar is horseshit. Some of it laziness like not capitalizing and sentence structure, the rest is pure idiocy.

what i meant to say was, slow negatives combined with explosive concentric portions of the movement would result in maximal muscle fiber recruitment leading to greater potential for hypertrophy. :D.

alot of the mictrotrauma to the muscle is a result of the eccentric portion, so paying attention to it would be worthwhile, most people just focus on the concentric and make the negative as little work as possible in order to move more poundages. Look at jrods form, i would consider that a perfect tempo.

The one exercise you don't want to go slow on is the squat. It places too much unnecessary strain on the lower lumbars. I wouldn't want to just stand around in a partial deadlift either.
