Im Just saying, the last time we went along with proposed policies...we eneded up with what we got now. Now the earmarks thing. Yea he went back on his word with that. But like i said, I have no judgement until i see some friuts. Not a jump the gun kind of guy. I like to wait in results before i make a ruling on a policy..Maybe because i have a science background...i dont know

and like i said i agree for the most part about waiting for results to make a FINAL judgement but that doesnt mean you should let things slide when you feel something doesnt sit right.

Well in that case we are in agreement. Im not well versed in political economics, national economics, so i cant tell if the policies will be effective or how they play out. Thats why i cant comment on them. Even with Bush, I wasnt sure of what the tax cuts would do so i didnt say anything. But i was against the war and the handling of 911...

I can understand passing on the increased costs of doing business, but not the increased taxes which are taken only on profits. Profits are only made after the consumer makes the purchase. Can you please explain your reasoning?

When the general excise tax was raised on businesses in Hawaii a couple years ago, that immediately increased the cost of goods and services for consumers. This always happens when the government raises taxes on businesses. Anytime the government makes it more costly for businesses to operate by, among other things, raising taxes, the consumer suffers. Taxes are a cost of doing business, borne at the end of the day by everyone up and down the income ladder.
