I used to be pro-Obama but I've realized now that basically no matter who got to be president at this time, america is still screwed.

He just signed over 4 to 5 trillion bucks of new spending, devaluing the bucks by a shitload, and we're only down 1500.  That's an awesome sign.   Bush borrowed 5 trillion his entire presidency and it killed the DOW.  Obama said we'll do 5 tril in his first two years, and it's only down by 1500.  it should be much lower due to dollar devaluation with the printing of 5 tril bucks out of nowhere, but it's not.

All in all, we can't measure until his 4 or 8 years are over, how successful he was.

In 2004, Bush declared victory in Iraq and the DOW was high.
In 2008, the war in iraq still trudged on, and the DOW was lower than when Clinton handed it to him.

So even judging Bush 1/2 way thru his term would have been misleading.  Judging obama'ss effectiveness only 6 weeks in, tha'ts crazy.
