Have any of you ever had a tat recolored or redone? if so how did it come out?
I have a tat on my back shoulder that I got when I was 18 and would like to get recolored and just wanted to know if any one has done so.

i had one touched up

it can be difficult but the top guys can normally sort it out

So you liked your re-do?

I like mine it's just faded and I want the lines done over and recolored

It looks better

it had just become a bit tired

but i checked all the tattoists in my area before i got it done

guy i go to has a four month waiting list

Go around and talk to several different guys and see what they tell you, some guys won't do retouches. But they would be able to better judge what you need done.

One good thing about the rescession.went in Wed. set it up for tonight and it was $25.00 less then when I asked last summer.

Yeah it does

the nose always freaks me out.it looks bent when my arm hangs at my side but when I lift it up even a little it straightens out

The original artist should have had you in a 'natural' position when he did it, then it would look straight while your arm is down. When is your next appointment?
