Went there on holiday back in '03 for a week - it is a complete and utter shithole - rats everywhere as well as obvious prostitution even on the resort and the staff did nothing about it. Beaches are crap but I think that was our fault because we went to the north (atlantic) end of the island (I've heard the south/caribbean side is better). The towns we visited had open sewers running through them and it seemed like a really uneasy place, like shit was going to kick off any minute. Wouldn't go back there in a milion years.

Why did you hate South Korea?  I lived there for a year.  The shopping was great, the food was different but great and the girls were great.  The only thing I didn't like was all the military crap we did.

What did they do?  I worked with the females...not a problem.  The guys liked to smoke..........ALOT and drink.  When I went to their market they had unusually large fruits and veggies we were told was fertilized with human feces :-X and pumped up with chemicals so were were allowed to eat the fruits or veggies of the base ;D
