Ronnie was good, but he was no Dorian Yates
« on: March 11, 2009, 05:40:01 PM »
Dorian is simply put, the greatest ever. No one really compares to Dorian in all aspects of bodybuilding: dominance on the Olympia stage, intelligence towards training and nutrition, and diligence in the gym.

Also, in these pictures Ronnie was closer to his prime than Dorian. Dorian at his best is untouchable.

Let me guess... Ricky Hatton is the greatest welterweight of all time and Lennox Lewis is the greatest heavyweight of all time as well?

oh please, ali got beat 5 times (i think) in his career, if ali would had rope a dope during the fight, marciano would have broke ali's arms. Even archie moore says that "Marciano was the only person he's ever fought that hit as hard at the end of the fight as he did at the beginning, and that was as hard as a train", and moore fought ali too.

In case you dont know, I'm not much of a boxer historian, my dad is and i've just grown up listening to all the stats.

LOL, Archie Moore was like 45 years old whenever he fought Marciano....

I bet if you beat up on old man he would say you hit hard too!

It doesn't mean he wasnt a tough old bastard. Having only one person that fought both marciano and ali, it's kind of hard to come up with references.

EDIT: I'm trying my best to stop this thread from becoming another Ronnie vs Dorian.  ;D
