You can't build one of the top 6 backs onstage by only doing pulldowns and cable rows.  Nasser rarely did these movements, the back exercises he did most often were deadlifts (full or half-reps), barbell rows (both overhead and underhand grips), t-bar rows (without the chest pad), one-arm dumbell rows, weighted chinups (close-reverse, wide, and close-parallell grips), and dumbell pullovers.  He also did, but less often, lat pulldowns (behind the neck and front), seated cable rows, straight-arm cable pulldowns, and hyperextensions.  He trained back twice a week, usually in the 6-15 rep range.
I saw him do back at Gold's Venice  from 95 to 98    he did deadlift SOME   but hardly ever did bent overs   not even one arms!!!!!

Must have been the occasional back workout you're referring to where he didn't do these movements.  He did deadlifts every other back workout, sometimes up to 8 sets, and frequent barbell or dumbell rows.

Dorian is simply put, the greatest ever. No one really compares to Dorian in all aspects of bodybuilding: dominance on the Olympia stage, intelligence towards training and nutrition, and diligence in the gym.

Agreed, no one even comes close.

Nasshole's back was utter crap. No detail. Either genetics or he had mechanical problem in his shoulders preventing him from fully contracting.

Owned by Levrone here.

Its been awhile since there was a  Yates Vs Coleman thread,
It was only a matter of time since another surfaced along with the nasser trolls trying to ride the Olympia bus....and falling off as usual ;D

Nasser was as good as Dorian; maybe not better, but at least in the same conversation.

And he's beating Wheeler in that lat spread. His back was not the best onstage, but it wasn't that bad from 96 onward, actually it was pretty good, just not as good as the top few.  Also, the back is just one bodypart.  Nasser destroyed everyone everywhere else.

LMFAO you're comparing one pic where Nasser is not even flexing his back or onstage, just doing lateral raises, with a flexed rear double bicep shot of Dorian onstage  ::)

He probably trained like a beast at other gyms   but  at the Mecca  he trained very conservatively.

You posted that pic as a rebuttal to people saying nasser had a weak back.  Gee you really proved them wrong  ::)
