What about when people bash whites for all the horrible things they/we have done such as taking land from the Indians and slavery, yet they don't hesitate to reap the financial and freedom rewards that those despicable acts have given all of us.

thats true, however the standard of living and way of life created by the those acts and the industrialization shortly thereafter are not things that can be held up long term. life as we have known it for the last few centuries is a way of life that will only lead (and is currently leading to) the demise of this current population of  human beings on earth.  so NO THANKS to all these great things us white people have done.
