there are plenty of 'supplements' that do exactly what they claim. For example tons of things are proven to increase growth hormone secretion. However the question isnt if they work, but rather do they make a significant difference?

alot of times,

Water retention can make a guy look fat.
But you can see the seperation between muscle groups
Heath certainly reaped the benefits of gettin real big in the offseason/
