When I was really depressed about 5 yrs ago, I would drink 3 36packs of beer a day.
I threw up so much during that time, that the residents in my downstairs apt
complained that the vomit was coming through thier ceiling.

"This was depression after failed back surgery that laid me up for months on end"

3 36 packs?  Sorry, chain, but I gotta call BS on that one.  I've been around some serious drinkers and that is way over the top.

You need to define the time-period. If you start drinking at 14:00 pm, you should be able to down 20+ by 03:00 am :).

Thats 108 beers a day, if you are awake 16 hours in the day thats about a beer every 10 minutes all day long, plus youd probably die after 70 or so.

haha, very true.  I remember joking with people about that....you could ask some guys how much they had to drink and they could give you an exact number....  I'm basing mine more on how much more beer I had to go buy the next day vs. what was left in the cooler/fridge... ;D

i never have any clue when I got out to a bar....

I went thru a party period where i'd go out around ten pm sat night and by midnight have drunk 6 beers,

then i'd drop a pill (e),

from that point i'd drink a beer every hour (maybe a tad faster) and a drop a pill every 2.5 hours until about ten pm sunday night.

27 beers and 9 pills in 24 hours thereabouts.

pretty stupid - I know people who still do that every weekend.

sydney is pretty crazy there clubs are open until 6 am then day clubs start at 6am until 3pm then back to a standard pub for the rest of the night on sunday...

When this is achieved you have had an epic night.

I managed this feat when 16, 18, 21 and a few other times I forget about, I have never managed to puke as well. That is the ultimate goal doing all three in one night!!!!!!!!

got to agree with the it doesnt count unless its pints stand point of view....

im not a huge drinker, but i suprised my self on a 3 day stag party with my mates rugby team, was last man standing everynight !... we were drinking all day, afternoon snooze on the beach, then out on the lash clubbing etc

all depends on WHAT KIND of beer your talking about.

lots of guys throw around big numbers like they are big shit but who cares if its a standard american 4.0abv beer. guiness is 'dark' but that doesnt mean it has a high alcohol content, it doesnt. a few dopplebocks/imperial stouts/ belgian triples/quads = dozens of other popular beers.

LOL within a 6-8 hour period LOL dude i could get drunk sober up and get drunk again in that amount of time...30+ in that window, i used to party alot beer bonged 10 beers in an hour once and have drank 30+ in a night i couldnt do that shit anymore though i drink 6 beers now or days and a shot or two and im pretty drunk.
