Thanks for the photos Crown, Brians physique is very similar to haney. I had forgoten just how good Bri was.

South Wales mate, But I work in London a few days a week also and train in London when i am there.

BRIAN b was a semi cloned haney,him,haney,christian could have been a good run,back in the 80's u had n.o.c,olympia,grand prix was the only good consecutive run of shows where they went head to head after olympia.

Yeah,i moved there in 1987 from Mansfield,it was great training back then,you had Linkie,Vince Brown,Shaun Davis,Owen Neil,Rocky Foster,Roger Bartley,Kenny Clarke,Paul Delahay.Seeing as how you`re from Wales,whatever happened to Grant Thomas,how come he never competed when he got his pro card.

I know Grant pretty well, although i have not seen him in a while - last time i was talking to him about 2-3 years ago he was looking pretty good and talking about a comeback. We talked at length about his chapter in the John Hotten book ''Muscle''.
He was training at Peak Physique in Cardiff but not sure what he is upto at the moment. He did compete as a pro in the New York night of the champs (1999 or 2000) but i think he got a bit disheartened with the sport. He placed 16th but should have been top ten.

By the way, thats like a who's who of British BB in the late 80's you named there. Very good BB's.

I met Brian when he was out in Australia in the 90s, great guy.He lived there for a few years on the central coast owned a gym there. Grant Thomas i havent seen in Years, ran into him in a gym in Splott is it just outside of cardiff back years ago.Was after the failed NOC attempt seemed a bit lost then.

just my opinion but buchanan's lower torse looks a cunthair too small....

on a related topic, someone posted a picture of this guy on here a few weeks ago, i dont know who he is, but....sick fucking taper.....eapecially for a white guy.

This shot is incredible! A vacuum pose in the front double Bi's.
BTW I know his legs were not great but they are not that bad.
