Did the Nasser book ever come out? I'm thinking maybe it sold out so quickly that I didn't even see it on the shelf.

Nasser is a loser. He lost every Olympia he entered and cried like a pussy in every one. The only dignity he had left was stuck on the arrest card that has his fingerprints after beating his wife because he realized he was finished. His dog and his soiled panties collection he sells to the Team is his only reason for living. He was caught on Getbig trying to organize the team (after he basically said BigBobs failed) to try to boost his image, which only went even further into the gutter thanks to the Team.

To answer your question, there are many reasons:

a) Jealousy - 300 lbs with abs, retired, money in the bank, loved by women, many friends, relaxed lifestyle - what is there not to be jealous of?
b) (Retired) pro bodybuilder - ironically, pro bodybuilders in general are ridiculed and bashed here even though this is a bodybuilding forum
c) Ethnicity/Religion - Nasser is seen as a minority with a foreign accent and is a Muslim, with creates some hate towards him from amongst certain getbiggers
d) Truth-telling - Nasser is one of the few pros who decided to speak the truth and expose dirt in the industry and especially with judging. When some getbiggers read what they don't like to hear that is contrary to their previous pereption that the IFBB is a clean and corrupt-free organization and that Dorian Yates did indeed deserve to win even his last few Mr. O's, they turn their frustrations towards Nasser and wrongly accuse him of lying and making up excuses.

That about sums it up.
