I watched this movie last night with my wife.

It pretty much summed up what I've always suspected about blind people.

If society was left in their hands they would go to the bathroom anywhere they want, fuck like animals anywhere they want, steal food, rape and generally bring the Earth down to it's lowest common denominator. All that on top of looking absolutely lost without their back scratchers to help them tap against everything.

It's a virus, that much is clear.

However for a Luddite such as yourself allow me to paint the "blindness" as a metaphor for the delicate edge society rests on between anarchy and order. By becoming blind the true weakness of man is revealed and like a butterfly emerging from the cocoon the observer is rewarded with seeing the world from a new perspective albeit a white one.
