All machines are different. I've used ones where 10 plates feel like 5, and others where 5 feels like 12.
Yep. and foot placement makes a huge difference as well
14teen total any more and i think it takes away from the pump and to much pressure lower back. I would rather do no lock out with 5 each side for reps
There was a guy at my old gym (about 5'5 250 fat) that would load every 45 onto the leg press, and do like two sets of calf raises, and leave all the plates on.
Just throw a 10lb plate at his nuts. Problem solved.
I agree. If I go super heavy i can't concentrate on my quads and I fell like I'm using my whole body to get it upI can load up my machine to the hilt, I think it's 11 a side and get reps but I don't feel shit.
I just park a Geo Metro on top of the machine.
depends on the machine. In my gym we have a leg press in which i do 3 maybe 3,5 plates a side. Its almost like squatting. that hard.
most I've done is 1100 lbs
hahahah youre twigs would snap like a slim jim
#### I squat more than you legpress. ...and if we'd compare legs I'm friggin Tom Platz compared to you ...NOW..IF WE COMPARE FORHEADS...WELL..YOU ARE MICHEAL JORDAN NEXT TO ME HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
