In Flex's case, will power had nothing to do with it. He was known as a lazy bastard and could hardly find the will to get in condition most of the time. Had he trained and prepared himself half as hard as Dorian did, the sky was the limit. But he just never had it. He was just incredibly gifted.

Dont Dexter weigh as much as 93 Flex while being 4 inches shorter and in equal condition?

Flex was a light-weight. This vid shows it. He weighed 218 at the 1993 Olympia, and 215 at the 1993 Arnold

Dex, now has a gut, Flex at his best, circa 1992, 1993, never did. Plus, his back was more detailed. Legs were super shredded.

Flex's competition was light yrs better than Dex's. But Dex is FAR more consistent with his conditioning than Flex. Dex is like Shawn Ray in this area. And it was Flex that put Dex onto Joe Mcneil.

Dex may be bigger but that's a matter of semantics , what separates Flex Wheeler from everyone else is his shape , his proportions , his super tiny joints and full round muscle bellies this is what makes him so special , Flex stands alone in the shape department , seriously alone

Yes! you don't need more weight than that! if you don't look good at 220, being 250 is not magically gonna make you god.

Exactly, Flex didn't figure that out, and now, Flex's clone, Melvin Anthony, hasn't figured that out either. And he's gonna be 40 this yr :P
