HCG question
« on: March 26, 2009, 12:32:13 PM »
I started some HRT of 250mg Sustanon EW, about 6 weeks ago. I didn't have any HCG at the time but I do now, is there any point in starting it now, or is it to late?

Not bad, Emmortal likes 250iu 2xew, and it works for him and others. Studies show that 500iu is the optimal dose, that is the only reason I say 500iu.

There's definitely some leeway for individuals try each dose out for a while and see how you feel.  Start out at 250iu 2x a week for several weeks and then bump it u p to 500 and see if there's a difference.

Am I missing something here?  If this is HRT, as you say, this is not a cycle; it is a "life" cycle.  HRT implies replacement for life.  Low dose test and, sometimes, GH, for life.

That said, the reasons for using hcg are different.  If you do choose to use it, low dosages are fine, even 250iu every 5 days would probably suffice.  It's implied that your Leydig (test-producing) cells are already dysfunctional, and rendered unecessary by the exogenously-administered Sustanon.  If you are still interested in fathering children, perhaps you may be interested in preserving Sertoli (sperm-producing) cells, but that's about it.

During a (non-"HRT") cycle (i.e. typical gear head cycle), you are using hcg to preserve both Leydig and Sertoli cell viability and to quicken the recovery of your own endogenous test levels upon termination of the cycle.

so if someone wants to use hcg that is a long term or life user and WANTS to have kids, how would you suggest to imply hcg?

"Imply" hcg?  Did you mean employ?

That depends on your dosages of gear.  Also depends on your sperm count and motility.  This can be easily evaluated.  If having kids is still a priority for you and you wish to be on for life, then you need to think of your sperm just like you would think about something like liver function tests. You check where you are, and you change the dosage of hcg accordingly.

In my 20s, I was a paid sperm donor ($100 cash twice a week to take a study break and go whack off to a porno--only in America ;D).  Anyway, I started a cycle (with no hcg, no anti-estrogens, no PCT...nothing--this was around 1987) and after about 4 weeks or so the tech from the lab called me to tell me my sperm count had gone down essentially to zero!

If you want your sperm going on HRT you need to use a protocol of HMG and HCG

HCG mimics LH and signals your leydigs to produce testosterone, HMG mimics FSH and signals your testes to start producing sperm cells

edit: the reason you want your leydigs functioning is that they are needed for healthy sperm, and your leydig cells are gone permanently if you let them die
also HMG is a mixture of FSH, LH and HCG so you need to watch your doses carefully, or instead just use HCG and FSH depending on what you can get your hands on
