Limbaugh's ratings spike amid Dem attacks

I'm not upset.  He doesn't influence my thinking.

And I don't think the dissemination of falsehoods and propaganda serve the country's interest.  Rush is bad for america in that respect.  

He pollutes the waters of genuine discourse with his bloviating.  It's his right to do so.  It's just that we all suffer for his obfuscation.

You are correct; it is his right to broadcast his ideas.  You have the equal right to ignore him.

The anti-government sentiment pushed by the rightwing-limbaugh included-during democratic administrations is very real.  Remember, it was a right wing terrorist who took that anti-government bilge to heart when he blew up women and children simply b/c they occupied a building designated as a 'federal' building.

In a letter he wrote to Fox News correspondent Rita Cosby, McVeigh attempted to justify his attack on a federal building as no different from a U.S. military air or missile strike on a government building in an enemy nation such as Serbia or Iraq. This is the statement of a person who is so alienated from his own country that he no longer recognizes his victims as anything other than an enemy target.
