I agree with you--without knowing any more about it, on the face of it this bill appears misguided and ill-conceived. Bad idea.

And that line from the other forum about organic markets "taking up space and dignity..." wtf? That couldn't have possibly been posted by a Monsanto or ADM employee, could it?

Sounds like overbearing gov with regulation that could force small independent farmers out.
This sounds like the same thing going on across the board. While some regulation is necessary, we've seen our gov overstepping its bounds for some time now...worse in the last few months.

I don't really watch Beck, so I don't have an opinion on him.

I don't think it's possible to be a drama queen when your country or freedom are in the balance though. This is serious business.

I like Glenn too--but he should try to tone it down just a notch or two and more people might take him a little more seriously. Sometimes the emotional histrionics might tend to obscure the message.

Hugo, I've watched him on and off for 2 years now and he has been fairly consistant in that time. I cannot speak before that.
I think the move to fox allows him more freedom of expression and the recent big government moves by the administration has lit him up more than normal. I believe he is personally appauled by the administration and he believes this is the wrong direction for the country. I prefer a more even temper, but I see why he is so passionate sometimes.

Ron Paul appeared on Glenn Becks show ( while on CNN ) probably close to 10 times last year. In fact, Glenn had Ron Paul on more times than most other shows. How many times has Ron Paul been on Olberman ?
