Vinnie Jones was a world class soccer player.  I played D1 in college.  Soccer players have completely different athletic goals compared to other athletes so it's a stupid comparison.  But put a guy like Vinnie Jones on roids and give him the tools of a bodybuilder and he'd be one huge mofo.  Lots of soccer players with bodybuilding potential out there.  But their training is completely the antithesis of building and keeping muscle.

Vinny Jones was not world class, not even close.  He wasn't even a good first division/premiership player in Englang.  He got a few international caps for Wales only because he was too shit to play for England.  World class  ::)

Exactly.  I certainly respect what top-level bodybuilders accomplish, but I cannot see them being able to run the length of a pitch for 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
