I'll watch the vids later, I'm at work.

Religion is not a mental disorder, it is part of our mental make up.  We are pattern seekers.  It's a trait from our hunter gatherer roots.

We all have to some degree a "mental disorder". Why? Imperfection. It's been solidified that we don't operate off of our full capacity mentally due to lack of full use of our brain.

Once we gain 100% of our brain capacity, then we can say "technically" we are not "mentally deprived" to some degree. Just a thought.

Wow. Not much new ideas, but the videos put my thoughts into words that I have had a quite some time.

We came from somewhere, everyone wants to know how and why and have faith in it. That's religion.

why do you assume there is a why? perhaps there is not? perhaps we never came from anything but always were?

Nothing always was unless you are Christian and believe in the Holy Ghost. If you do believe then there is a why. Everything has origin, is a construct to some degree unless you believe in nothing, in which case religious discussion should be pretty low on the priority list.

wrong on all accounts, matter can neither be created nor destroyed, wouldn't that imply eternity?

Yes, talking to invisible friends is a slight mental disorder. When they talk back to you, that's when you have a real problem!  :-X

Assuming that there is a subject for every predicate is an error.  Good call.

The fact, that you are willing to believe that someone/something else has always existed shows that your issue regarding God has more to do with your not wanting to submit yourself or pay homage to a higher being.
