If the GOP would take time to groom Palin properly, she would enhance any ticket she is on in the future.  But they aren't.  They want a ready made superstar to thrust out there.  It isn't happening for them and they can't see why.

I agree with you on that one, if she was in the senate for a few years i think she would be good to go maybe not as pres but as VP i could see...

Well simply thrusting somebody out there worked for the dems and barry  ;)

barry knew 10 years ago that he'd be running for president in 2008.
He worked 7 years in state senate, 7 years as a constitutional professor, and a term in the US senate focused on foreign relations...

Ten years ago, Palin was running PTA meetings.

So your assessment is incorerct.  obama was running for the last decade.  palin decided 18 months ago to toss her name in.

Obama planned his route.  Everything he did was with the end goal of becoming the POTUS.

Palin simply got plucked from out of nowhere and stuck under the spotlight.  She had no plan. She was along for the ride.  What she is doing now is what Obama really started intensifying his actions with 6 years ago.

before this election had you even heard of barrack obama of course not, no doubt his actions were geared toward politics towards presidency ehhh...point is he was a nobody before this election and thrust up there, i agree with you on palin, like you said if she gets a number of years in the senate or stays relevant in politics not 240 style politics she will be a good candidate in the future but she certainly wasnt ready and wasnt a good choice for VP.

LOL... remember Obama meeting with Ayers in 1995 and planning the whole presidential run ;)

Dude, Obama was running for prez for 12+ years.  He was the 2004 keynote speaker for pete's sake.

LOL oh this is rich - now you're defending Ayers hahaha

Dude, everyone knows the senate was just a planned stepping stone to the white house for obama - HH6 and others here will readily agree.  His goal was to be president.

And really, if you hadn't heard of a US senator 4 or 6 years ago, then you need to watch politics.

yes - he lost to rush in 2000 by a bad margin, but was talked about as a potential star thans to his charisma and skin color.
in 2003 he made news by speaking against the iraq war, and everyone knew he'd make an Ill senate run the next year, which he did, and won handily.

obama's been a star for a long time - look up his name on political and other message board going back 6 years - and he was talked about as a frontrunner since 2004 thanks to the keynote speech.

I dont think shes the best candidate but I also dont think shes stupid like you do.I think she should either run for governor again,or run for the senate.I wish the republicans would wake up and put in Ron Paul, they wont.I do think they will finally nominate Romney as he gives them their only chance.Hes the only guy that looks better then Obama, speaks as well[although not as dynamically]and looks presidential.Plus he is very well versed on the economy.

What is your definition of stupid?  Do you equate stupid with low intelligence or different political beliefs from you?
If you define stupid as having a low intelligence.....all signs point to yes with miss Palin.

Unless you think athletes that score so low on SAT/ACT that they're not allowed to play college athletics aren't "stupid," Palin officially has turds for brains because her reputed standardized test scores puts her in this range.
