are there any "Planet Fitness" Members here?

Well, there is a new "Planet Wussies" just opened around my Area and a friend of mine just joined them. his reason was "the Price". well, I got a guess pass from him for one day, and when I got there, I saw their famous sign on the wall. well, planet fitness is sure making money and they have the numbers to show for it. if you are one of those "Hardcore Nuts" outthere, that's the last fucking place you'd wanna be.

My buddy use to own a gym that he sold to PF.in the deal he got me a free membership for life.



...after trying it for a month I joined another gym. :-\

i use to belong to clavins gym
one day i came in and all the heavy dumbells were stacked against the wall by the door
they took out all the military presses...the 2 power cages...all the hammer strength equipment...the dumbells only went up to 50lbs...they used to go to 130...the pre loaded barbells only went up to 50lbs now...there wer eonly 2 barbells in the whole place from the flat and incline bench...no deads allowed...pizza on monday nights and bagels on tuesday morning...tons of cardio machines everywhere

Well right now for a "white" membership it's one dollar down and 10 bucks a month for life. The place is a joke if you go in there after 5 pm. You have fat bitches in spandex, sloppy teenage girls working out in there pajamas, families of four or five "working out". The place really is a joke, it's not that bad in the morning or afternoon though.

this is the type of people they cater to so why do you train there then... you dont like heavy dumbells?

There are two memberships, white is 10 bucks black is 20 bucks. With the black you get to bring in anyone you want to workout, tan for free and get half off anything in the cooler. I never minded the place too much, but it's just too crowded now. I am trying to find a new gym where I didn't fuck and chuck one of the desk bitches, but these whores are hanging onto their jobs like it's a fkn career so I am having a hard time.

I liked the idea of free tanning and being able to bring in my buddies to train with me, but the negatives are outweighing the positives at this point. And 75 pound DBs are fine for me. I hate using heavy DBs anyway, always afraid I am going to crush my phone or Ipod.
